According to Jawed Karim (Founder), YouTube was created after its founders couldn't find a video of Justin Timberlake exposing Janet Jackson's breast at the 2004 SuperBowl halftime show. With that events as a partial inspiration, YouTube initially conceived as a dating sited called "Tune In Hook Up". But the co-founders pivoted, and instead got the most popular website in the world.
