Oracle To Set-Up Cloud Data Centres in India



Oracle's president of product development Thomas Kurian said the company will open Data Centres in India withina a year, as demand for cloud services in the country surgies. Rivals Microsoft, Amazon and IBM have all established big data centre footprints in India. The primary reason for estaablishing local data centres is the issue of data jurisdiction.
