How The Net Speed of 125KB/s Is Just The Same As 1Mbps?

Many believe that 1Mbps is the same as 1 MB/s, but its actually not. The confusion is mainly due to 'bytes' use capitalized 'B' s while 'bits' use lower case 'b' s.
1 byte = 8 bits.
So, 125 KB/s = 125000 bytes of data/sec, while
1 Mbps = 1000000 bits of data/sec.
